Clinical Supervision

I want supervision to feel like a space where you can be yourself, not somewhere you have to present or perform. I know this work can be incredibly rewarding, but I also know how much it can ask of you. Sometimes you need somewhere to slow down after a session that has stayed with you, think through a client or case you can’t quite make sense of, or explore a feeling you’ve been struggling to put into words.

My supervision is human, compassionate and grounded in theory, but flexible enough to make space for you to be you. I work in a supervisee-led way, so what we focus on is guided by what you need. Maybe you need to think through a plan for moving a piece of client work forward, explore a difficult professional decision, talk through safeguarding or risk, think about your career and where you want to go next, or simply understand why a particular client or situation has affected you more than you expected. Supervision can hold all of it.

I’ve been a counsellor for almost ten years, and I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision in 2025. I also have over 15 years working in mental health and safeguarding roles, including in supervisory and management roles. I bring my experience, alongside my clinical training, into supervision, but I don’t believe supervision needs to feel overcomplicated or prescriptive. Sometimes you need theory and challenge. Sometimes you need perspective, reassurance or someone who really listens. Often, you need a bit of all of these.

Whether you’re a counsellor, or a professional working in mental health, safeguarding, welfare, pastoral care or complex casework, let’s start with a conversation. There’s no pressure to commit. We can talk about what you’re looking for, what you need from supervision and whether I’m the right supervisor for you.
